Cafédirect Tea Lady Competition Terms and Conditions for Competition to win Free Tea delivered by Cafédirect Tea Lady ("Official Rules")

1. No purchase necessary to enter or win.  Cafédirect plc, which has its registered office at 24 Great King Street, Edinburgh EH3 6QN, registered as company number 141496 in Scotland (the “Promoter”), is holding a competition entitled Cafédirect Tea Lady Competition (the “Competition”) from 22nd February 2010 to 23rd  March 2010 via the website  www.cafedirecttealady.co.uk. (the “Site”).
2. This Competition is open to residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland). Entrants must be aged 18 years and over, excluding employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. By entering this Competition each player confirms that he/she agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
3. To enter, visit www.cafedirecttealady.co.uk and complete and submit the entry form.
4. Entries from agents, third parties, or consumer groups will not be accepted. Bulk entries from individuals will not be accepted.
5. All entries must be received by midnight on 22/3/2010 (the "Closing Date").
6. The winners will be selected from the top five companies not currently stocking Cafedirect which have the most referrals from all of the entries received. The winners will be contacted by email by the 30/03/2010. In the event of a tie the winner will be drawn at random from the top entries. If the winner does not respond within one day of original notification another draw will take place and an alternative winner will be contacted. In which case, the original winner will forfeit any rights to the prize.
7. The prize will be delivered once the winner has responded to confirmation of their win and a mutually agreeable date has been agreed.
8. HOW TO ENTER:  Entries should be made in accordance with the instructions given in the promotion for the Competition via the Site.
9. By entering the Competition players confirm that all information given is complete, accurate and not misleading. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry at any time in the event it is determined that the player has not complied with these Official Rules or has acted in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  The Promoter is not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late, illegible, undeliverable entries, technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors or problems which may limit or affect a player’s ability to participate in the Competition. The Promoter is not responsible for other errors or difficulties of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the Competition, including without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Competition, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Competition-related materials.   The Promoter does not guarantee that the Site and/or Competition will not contain IT faults, or that faults identified will be remedied; nor can it guarantee that the Site and/or sites to which the Site links do not contain viruses or other components which may cause damage to players’ computer equipment and/or data.  In the event of sabotage, acts of God, terrorism or threats thereof, computer virus or other events or causes beyond the Promoter’s control, which corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend the Competition (or a portion thereof).  In the event of cancellation, the Promoter reserves the right to judge all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such cancellation.  False or deceptive entries or acts will render the player ineligible. 
10. All prize details not specified herein are at the sole discretion of the Promoter.  The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, in its sole discretion.  Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable manufacturer, supplier and/or operator.  Prizes must be accepted “as is” or declined.  Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for another article or cash value. 
11. Notice of the win will be sent to the winner within one week of the Closing Date.
12. The winner must confirm his or her willingness to receive the prize within a period of one day from the date of such contact, giving his or her name and postal address for delivery of the prize. Failure to confirm in that period will forfeit the prize and the Promoter will be entitled to pick another winner. The Promoter may cancel the winning of a prize in its sole discretion and without prior notice if it does not receive confirmation from the winner of willingness to receive the prize or if the shipping of the prize to the address stated by the winner is unsuccessful, and the Promoter fails to obtain the necessary information to deliver the prize successfully following reasonable efforts. In this case the Promoter will consider itself obliged to cancel the prize, without the person concerned becoming entitled to any compensation as a result.
13. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS:  By entering this Competition and/or accepting a prize, each entrant grants the Promoter and its agents and employees the right, unless prohibited by law, to use his/her name, town, voice, performance, picture and likeness without compensation, notification or approval, for the purpose of advertising, promotion and other purposes, in any manner or medium, now or hereafter known, throughout the universe in perpetuity.
14. The Promoter expressly disclaims any responsibility for any and all claims, actions, demands and/or liability for injury, damage or loss whatsoever relating to or arising in connection with participation in this Competition (regardless of the cause of such injury, damage or loss), the Promoter’s use of any footage and/or the delivery and/or subsequent use or misuse of any of the prize awarded (including without limitation, any travel and activity related thereto).  For the avoidance of doubt the Promoter does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence. In entering into this Competition, players do so at their own risk. The Promoter, its agents and employees will not be liable for any loss or damage to any property or for death or personal injury save where such death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or employees.
15. Any dispute or complaint concerning this Competition should be addressed to Cafédirect plc, Head Office, Unit F, Zetland House 5-25 Scrutton Street, London, EC2A 4HJ and must be so submitted within 90 days following the Closing Date of the Competition.   The Promoter reserves the right to shorten, defer, alter or cancel this Competition (including without limitation the prizes offered) if it considers in its sole discretion that circumstances demand it; it cannot be held liable for this on any grounds whatsoever.
16. A hard copy of these Official Rules can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the following address by the Closing Date: Cafédirect plc, Head Office, Unit F, 5-25 Scrutton Street, London, EC2A 4HJ. A hard copy of the winners' names can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to this address on or after the Closing Date.
17. These Official Rules are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution that cannot be settled amicably must be brought before the competent English courts.
18. Information obtained through this Competition shall be used in accordance with Cafédirect’s Privacy Policy which can be found at http://www.cafedirect.co.uk/privacy/.
